Jakestone is a home services platform that connects homeowners with qualified trade professionals for residential maintenance, repair, and installation services. Jakestone facilitates the connection, scheduling, payment processing, and communication between homeowners and trade professionals.

Account Registration

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current information including your name, email, phone number, and service address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

Pricing and Payment

  • Service pricing is determined by Jakestone and displayed during the request process
  • Your payment method is pre-authorized at the time of booking and charged only after the job is completed and you approve the work
  • If a scheduled visit cannot be completed due to access issues or cancellation after a pro has been dispatched, a service fee may apply
  • Emergency service requests include a surcharge for priority scheduling, as disclosed during the request process

SMS/Text Message Communications

Program Name: Jakestone Service Notifications

Message Frequency: Variable, based on your service activity. Typical messages include appointment confirmations, job status updates, pro arrival notifications, and platform invitations.

Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message from Jakestone. You will receive a confirmation message and no further SMS will be sent unless you re-subscribe.

Opt-In: You may re-subscribe by replying START to any previous Jakestone message or by updating your notification preferences in your account dashboard.

Supported Carriers: Jakestone SMS notifications are supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Sprint.

Service Guarantee

Jakestone strives to match you with qualified, vetted trade professionals. If our pro arrives and finds that the scope of work differs from what was described, we will contact you with an updated price before any additional work begins. You always approve the price before work starts.

Limitation of Liability

Jakestone acts as a platform connecting homeowners with independent trade professionals. While we vet our professionals, Jakestone is not directly responsible for the quality of work performed. We encourage homeowners to review and rate their service experience to help maintain quality standards.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
